App of the week: Metro news for iPad

I just downloaded Metro.co.uk’s iPad app and am already preferring it to the paper version. Having tried and tested it on my tube journey to work, I’ve noticed a list of reasons why reading the Metro news is better on the iPad;

1. Like the paper version, it’s free and it downloads onto the iPad’s newsstand every morning so you can read it no matter where you are.

2. It’s so much easier to read standing up – a handy factor for tube users.

3. You don’t need to worry about disposing of your paper – or wasting paper for that matter.

4. It’s so user friendly and much easier to find stories and features of interest than flicking through a large paper.

5. No more inky-fingers!
