Golden Globe Awards

All star-gazing eyes were on Hollywood last night as the stars hit the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 68th Annual Golden Globe awards. It’s a ceremony which recognises excellence in Film and Television and for us girls, it’s about getting a look at 2011’s best gowns under the spotlight of the red carpet. Who had run of the red carpet?, Who had the most fabulous frock?….. let the judging commence!

Green was a big hit this year and I’m sure there were many green eyes turning in the direction of Angie! Mad Men’s Elizabeth Moss also looked fab in her emerald gown.

Pink blush tones and nudes were also popular colour palettes. I’m loving Anne Hathaway’s Giorgio Armani sequined gown and Glee’s Diana Agron was elegant in her J. Mendel dress. Winning actress Natalie Portman also opted for a pink number which draped nicely over her baby bump, I’m still not sure if I like the dress though!

Megan Fox, Diana Agron, Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Kaley Cuoco.

Leighton Meester is by far my favourite of the night. Perfect vintage Hollywood glam and the slit in the front keeps it young and fun. She matches it with dainty Louis Vuitton clutch bag and glittering Jimmy Choos that Cinderella would be jealous of!

These three ladies, who usually rule the red carpet were a little disappointing to be honest!…….

January Jones, Michelle Williams, Christina Hendricks.

I love Christina Hendricks but her choice of dress, not so much, the flower-corsage is too big and it distracts from her lovely hourglass shape.

Michelle Williams looked cute in this floral Valentino, but it looks as though she confused red carpet event with garden party!

January Jones, the ultimate OMFG….What was she thinking moment! She’s right to flaunt her fab figure, but next time, leave the curtain tassels on the curtain, Jan!!
